NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase does not improve your chance of winning. Contest run by Air Paddle Canada Inc., operating as Ottawa Valley Air Paddle, 67 Madawaska Street, Arnprior, Ontario (the “Sponsor”).
Entries are earned from 12:00 a.m. ET on October 1, 2026 to 11:59 p.m. ET on December 15, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Ten draws are held, one per day, from December 6 to December 15, 2026. Entries earned at any point in the Contest Period remain eligible for every draw that has not yet taken place.
Open to legal residents of the Province of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence as of the date of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family and household members are not eligible. Prizes must be collected in person at the Sponsor’s Arnprior location, so entrants should be able to travel there.
Free entries and purchase entries have an identical chance of being selected. Purchases of gift cards do not earn entries; purchases made using a gift card do. Entries attached to a purchase that is later refunded, returned or charged back are removed.
Ten (10) prizes are available, one awarded per draw day. Each prize is a ski or snowboard equipment package with an approximate retail value between $800 and $1,200 CAD. The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $10,000 CAD. Each draw day is designated in advance as a ski day or a snowboard day; the designations and the brand partner for each day are published at win.ovap.ca.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are not transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater retail value if the advertised prize is unavailable.
One winner is selected at random for each draw day from the eligible entries for that day’s pool. Ski-day prizes are drawn from entrants with ski-side eligibility and snowboard-day prizes from entrants with snowboard-side eligibility, as determined by the categories an entrant has purchased in and the preference stated on the entry form. Entrants who have earned entries without a clear ski or snowboard signal, including all free entries, are eligible for both pools.
An entrant may win only once. A winner is removed from all remaining draws.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries in the applicable pool at the time of each draw. As at the date these rules were published, the total number of entries is not known.
Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
A selected entrant is contacted by email and telephone using the details supplied with their entry. The selected entrant must respond, answer the skill-testing question, sign a declaration and release, and collect the prize in person at 67 Madawaska Street, Arnprior within 72 hours of being contacted. If a selected entrant cannot be reached, declines, fails the skill-testing question or does not collect within 72 hours, the prize is forfeited and another entrant is drawn from the same pool.
Collecting a prize includes taking part in a short filmed handover in store. If an entrant does not wish to be filmed, they should say so when contacted; this does not affect their right to the prize.
Information collected with an entry is used to administer the contest and, where the entrant has expressly consented, to send marketing email. Marketing consent is never a condition of entry. Information is handled under the Sponsor’s privacy policy. Winners consent to the use of their first name, last initial and municipality in announcements of the results.
Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, automated or submitted by any means other than those described above are void. The Sponsor may disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has tampered with the entry process. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected or not received for technical reasons. The Sponsor may cancel or amend the contest if it cannot be run as planned, subject to any required regulatory approval. All decisions of the Sponsor are final.
